MLP-Memories of my Past: Chapter 5.

Holly was chatting with her friends when she heard Price's voice shouting.

"Shut up!" he shouted.

And she and her friends ran to see what was happening. Price was  sweating and snorting, he was looking at the white unicorn who was in front of him with a mad face. The unicorn was putting his hoof on his check and it looked red.

"Say it again…" Price warned him "… and I'll kick your plot out to the hospital!".

The white unicorn stood up and gave him an evil grin.

"Your mother is a…" he started, but Price's hoof arrived his check first and the unicorn hit the ground screaming in pain.

"I'LL…" Price started, but Holly appeared in front of him and putted her hoof on his shoulders.

She saw that there were tears coming from his eyes. It was not fury, it was something else.

"What is happening here?" Miss Cheerilee appeared with a mad face "Price did you just hit Neil?".

Price just lowered his head.

"Yes…" he mumbled.

"Follow me Price" she said "We need to talk…".

Holly was at his side, but Price just followed Cheerilee without looking or talking with her.

"Price…" she whispered.

Price was seated at the front of Cheerilee's table and his teacher was looking at him. But when she was about to say something the door of her office opened and Dark Knight entered the room.

"Knight?" Cheerilee asked "I asked Apple Bloom to call Twilight…".

Knight approached the table and stood at Price's side.

"Twi is a little busy right now so she send me" he sat down "So, What's the matter?".

Cheerilee was reluctant, but she trusted Knight and so she told him what happened.

"Mm…" he mumbled "O.K… I'll report that to Twilight… See you Cheerilee!".

She waved at him and Knight and Price got out.

They walked for a little bit and Knight stopped at the lake, but Price just continued walking.

"Where are you going?" Knight asked.

Price looked back and saw knight sitting at the riverside. The black stallion wave to Price calling him to sit next to him. And the navy little pagasus did.

"Now…" he said "Why did you hit that colt?".

Price looked at him. Knight wasn't mad or anything like it, he was just asking with a concerned face.

Price always thought that Knight was a cool stallion. Price always loved to hear his stories about the lands that he visited. Price always looked to Knight with respect, he was strong and brave, he might have lost his leg, but he never gave up, he continued to have adventures. And Price admired that in him.

"I…" Price started "I mean, he… He called my mom a… Well… You know…".

Knight knew what he was talking about.

"And why he did that?" the black stallion asked.

Price sniffled.

"Because…" he said with a sad voice "I never met my dad… And mom never speaks of him… So the others discovered and… Neil…" he sniffled again.

Knight looked at the little colt and felt his heart tighten. Price didn't know, but his dad was just as his side.

Emerald couldn't believe in what she was seeing. The Moon was red. Red like blood.

"Knight…" she called "What's happening?".

When she looked to Knight she saw that his face was covered in terror.

"'The red Moon will say that the queen of the dark will arrive…'" he mumbled "'… In the second day she'll come… Bringing destruction and darkness…'".

Emerald looked at him with a concerned look.

"What was that?" she asked.

He looked to her with worried eyes.

"Something that a friend I met in Lacrimis warned me about…" he said "Come, we need to see if is everything all right in town!".

After that he ran and she followed.

When they arrived in town they heard a mad, but sweet voice, shouting.

"WHO DID THIS TO OUR MOON?" Princess Luna screamed in anger "THOU SHALL FACE MY WRATH!".
Twilight was trying to calm her, but she was not having much success.

"Help…" she cried to knight as he arrived.

Knight stood in front of Luna and raised his hooves.

"Princess, please calm down." He said and the Princess looked to him.

"Thee?" she asked "You are the soldier that my sister sent to aid Twilight Sparkle, aren't you?".

He bowed.

"Dark Knight your Highness" he said "But there's no time! I need you to listen.".
Luna looked at him waiting for an explanation.

"Now" Knight started looking to all the ponies that were around him "I know why this happened" he pointed to the moon "And you need to listen to me.".

Ponies were looking to the moon and not paying any attention to what Knight was saying.

"LOOK HERE YOU MORONS!" Knight heard Trips voice at his side.

Everypony looked at them with scared faces.

"They're all yours now friend…" he said with that creepy smile of his.

"Thanks friend…" Knight said and then turned to the ponies "Now… we have big problems here…  First, Princess" Luna looked at him "You must return to Canterlot immediately and set the army ready, a great danger approach these lands. Second" he turned to Twilight and her friends "You six should go as well, we might need the Elements of Harmony…".
Twilight looked into Knight's eyes.

"What's happening?" she asked, but Knight just pointed to Canterlot.

"There's no time!" he said "Princess, Twilight, I'm counting on you all… And all the other ponies should hide! And hide well, because you'll not want 'She' to find you, please, stay safe…".

Rainbow Dash and Applejack walked closer to Knight.

"And what about you?" They asked together.

Knight looked at Trip and Skipper. The white pony smiled and the cyan Pegasus recoiled.

"I've to find a somepony that a friend told me about" he explained "I've my old companions here" he pointed at Trip and Skipper "And they'll come with me.".

"I'm on!" Trip said and Skipper just mumbled something.

"Me too." Emerald said and everypony looked at her.

"What?" Knight asked "No! You're going to hide, it's too dangerous to…".

"You ain't the boss of me!" she said "I'm coming with you, I'm not going to stand still while my home and friends are in peril.".

Knight looked at her expression and saw himself. Stubborn.

"By the… I…" he mumbled "Fine! Now do what I said, please… good luck everypony…".

He looked towards Trip, Emerald and Skipper and smiled.

"Follow me!" he said and ran towards the Everfree Forest.

"I'll follow!" Trip shouted.

"Oh gosh…" Skipper mumbled.

"Until the end of the world…" Emerald whispered.

They ran for a couple of minutes. The trees in the forest seemed to be following their movements. But Knight was too busy laughing with his friends to notice that.

Although when they arrived at a glade they could see a little house made out of wood, Knight got serious and knocked at the door.

"Who lives here?" Emerald wanted to know.

"A friend's friend…" Knight said.

The door opened and a wine colored unicorn with golden eyes and yellow hair appeared.

"I'm not interested in buying whatever you're selling…" she said.

"I'm a friend of the 'Time Lady'…" Knight said and the unicorn just smiled.

"Ah!" she got out and hugged Knight "I knew she would send someone! This are ill times! Come in!".

She entered the house and they followed.

"Welcome to Dana's house!" she smiled "I'm Dana by the way!".

"Trip…" the white pony said.

"S-Skipper…" the cyan pegasus mumbled.

"Emerald, nice to meet you!" the green pony said.

"Knight…" the black stallion said "You're 'her' friend, aren't you? She told me that I would find you here…".

"Yep, I am!" she said "But what we need now is not chatting…".

She opened a chest and took something out. It was a wired object, a silver staff with a circle on the top and a cyan sphere in the center of it.

"There we go!" she said "Now we can't waste any time! Follow me!".

She ran to the door and got out of the house with Knight and his companions following her.

"And what we need to do, you crazy bugger?" Trip asked.

She looked at him and smiled.

"We need to stop some creatures from murdering Princess Celestia right now!" she said "So hold on!".

Her horn glowed crimson and they were teleported to a tight locker.

"Ouch!" Trip said "Are you crazy?".

"Sorry…" Dana said "We didn't got much time so… Wait a sec…" she opened the door and they fell "There we go!" she stood up smiling.

"Don't do that…" Trip threatened "… never again…", but she just smiled.

Knight hushed through the door of that room and realized that they were at the palace at Canterlot.

"Come!" he called "We need to save the princess!".

"We'll just trust her?" Trip pointed to Dana.

She looked at him with a carefree look.

"Some unicorns get powerful" she said "So powerful that they can do things that other unicorns can't. Myself, for example. I can see things that are about to happen and I can amplify my magic by using this!" she waved the staff "So… Yeah, you can trust me!".

Knight just turned around and ran with the others at his hooves.

They arrived at a big door and a scream came out of it.

Knight didn't think twice, he just broke open the door with his mechanical leg and they looked into the room with horrified expressions.

Celestia was hurt and some meters away from her there were two creatures that none of them knew.

They had heads and legs of a pony, but they also had arms and torso. Their eyes were red and their teeth were yellow. The two things looked at the five ponies who just arrived and growled.

"You are not supposed to be here…" one of them said, its voice was deep "Kill them!".

The other monster roared and raged towards the ponies weaving his giant sword.

"Behind me!" Knight shouted, but Dana acted faster.

She raised her staff and it shone in a golden light. The creature was tossed through the window and miles and miles away.

The other monster roared and attacked, but Knight was faster this time. He ran into it with his mechanical hoof hitting its stomach and knocking it out.

Emerald ran towards the Princess and stood by her side.

"Princess!" she called "What happened?".

"They are coming…" Celestia said "Take me to the throne room… I need to… Give orders…".

"Who were they your majesty?" Knight asked.

Celestia looked at him with a concerned look.

"They are…" she muttered "… mercenaries… Horrid creatures that were once against the rising of Equestria… Against my father…".

The five ponies were with her when she arrived at the throne room. Emerald saw that Luna, Twilight and the others were there already.

"Big sis?" Luna hushed to her sister's aid "What happened?".

"As the stories Luna…" she said "… Centaurs…".

Luna just froze with a panic expression.

Knight knew something about centaurs. Merciless and rage full creatures that only knew how to hate and kill.

And they were coming…

Knight putted his hoof on Price's shoulder and smiled.

"You know…" he said to the little navy colt "Your mom will ground you for getting suspended…".

"I know…" Price said.

"But you know…" he said and Price looked at him "I think you did well. I would not let somepony to treat my friends, or family like that… But you need punishment!".

Knight pulled Price and started to rub his head with his hoof.

"Agh!" Price started to laugh "No! You… Release… Me!".

Price escaped and jumped on Knight and they rolled on the floor laughing and pretending they were fighting.

"I. Will. Destroy you!" Price shouted while laughing.

"Not. If. I . Do it first!" Knight replied with a loud laugh.

The black stallion putted the little navy pegasus between his front hooves and held him on the ground.

"Beg for mercy!" he said, he he put his mouth on Price's belly started to blow and the little colt started to laugh out of his control.

"P-Please… HAHAHA! Stop!" he was crying from laughing so hard "I can't… breath!".

Knight stopped and both continued to laugh. Price was still between Knight's legs and both were lying on the grass looking the stars.

"You're awesome Knight!" Price said.

The black stallion looked at him and smiled.

"Thanks." He said.

"I mean it!" Price looked at him with a big smile "Holly is so lucky to be your daughter! I've never met my father… And sometimes I think he doesn't want to see me…" the smile vanished and tears took its place.

Knight's vision began to blur because of the tears that were coming.

"Maybe…" Knight tried "He is afraid of something… But…".

"I'll stay strong…" Price said "Then I'll fly away and look for my dad…".
Knight passed his hoof over Price's mane. The little navy pegasus looked at him. Tears were mixed with a smile.

Some minutes passed and Price turned to Knight once more.

"Knight, can I ask you something?" he said.

"Sure…" Knight was holding the tears.

Price sobbed.

"Can you pretend to be my father?" he asked "Just for this night?".

He couldn't hold it anymore.

"Price…" he started "I… I don't need to pretend…".

The little pegasus looked at him with a surprised face, those big pink eyes were shining.

"W-What…?" Price seemed confused.

"I'm so sorry…" Knight said with a smile between the tears "I hope you can forgive me Price… I always looked at you and thought 'He's growing so much, growing strong…'. But the fear wouldn't let me… I'm a coward… I- I should have told you years back… But I was too afraid…".

Price's mouth trembled while forming a smile. A smile imprisoned for so long.

"You…" Price tried, but knight needed to say.

"I'm your father Price." He told.

Price jumped on him and hugged Knight tight, the black stallion hugged his son back finally taking that burden out of his chest.

"I promise you Price…" he started "I'll never let you feel alone again! Never!".

Price was crying and laughing. For Knight, that was one of the most beautiful sounds he had ever heard.

Price looked into his father's eyes.

"Hi dad…" he said with a huge smile and tears flowing out of his eyes…
